Over March 27th to April 3rd, 2013, Somali hiphop group Waayaha Cusub and Humanitarian Bazaar produced the Mogadishu Music Festival. The festival ran six public concerts, which included the first live public and international concerts in the city since the war began. Waayaha Cusub performed alongside Kombo Chokwe & Afro Simba (Kenya), Alsarah (Sudan/USA), the Ariana Delawari Band (USA/ Afghanistan/ Canada), DZA the Dissenter (Sudan), Jamir Adiong (Philippines), and Bill Brookman (UK). This short film shows highlights from the festival.
