THUNDER SPIRAL

Thunder Spiral (produced and directed by Daniel J Gerstle, 90 minutes, to premiere in 2018), a feature documentary produced by Humanitarian Bazaar, explores how people cope with war and post-traumatic stress in Bosnia, Afghanistan, Somalia, and other tough places often in quixotic quests to find meaning and beauty in the flames. The film weaves together surreal visuals and soundscapes cross-cutting different crisis areas to highlight what war survivors face in common regardless of where they come from. Soundtrack produced by Natch Nadjafi, featuring music from The Casualty Process, Kilometer Zero, and the people of Sarajevo, Nyamlel, Kabul, and Slavyansk. The film premieres in early 2018.
