EVENT | Amsterdam: Masterpeace Concert
MASTERPEACE ft. WAAYAHA CUSUB
In September 2014, Masterpeace ran another global music festival event, bringing together musicians from all over the world who represented countries facing conflict to Amsterdam, Netherlands. Humanitarian Bazaar supported and filmed coverage with Somali hiphop-against-violence group Waayaha Cusub. Also starring in the event were the Heebee Geebees (Kenya), Emmanuel Jal (South Sudan), and the legendary Farhad Darya (Afghanistan). Behind the scenes with Waayaha Cusub and their quest to rebuild their studio in the Netherlands is also featured in Humanitarian Bazaar’s coming series, Journeys on the Edge.
