In November 2011, Adeso Africa contracted Humanitarian Bazaar (then known as HELO Media) and Drewstone Media to travel with their team to remote areas of Somalia, Kenya, and South Sudan to produce three short documentaries and photo series about their work–Adeso: About Us, Adeso: Innovating Aid, and Vanishing Lands. Directors Seth Chase and Daniel J Gerstle worked closely with Adeso Africa leaders Fatima Jibrell and Degan Ali.
